In the 6th grade, I met a soon-to-be lifelong friend who gave me my first cassette tape of The Beatles. Since then, I have been a great fan of all things Beatles-related. Their music as a band and as solo artists has been a constant in my life since that day in middle school. This band was formed in 2018 to play at The Beatles' The White Album Symposium at Monmouth University where we played a few of the arrangements that appear on this record. When it came time for me to record my own album, I knew I wanted to record a few Beatles tunes, but a friend suggested that I do a whole album of Beatles music. And here it is. The combination of my love for The Beatles and improvised music - jazz. All your life. You were only waiting for this moment to arise.
